The Wisconsin State Patrol is calling for school bus safety as students prepare to head back to class.
State troopers say there were 655 crashes involving school buses across the Badger State last year, an increase from the year before. On top of that, there were more than 13-hundred traffic convictions for drivers who failed to stop for a school bus. Many local school districts are set to start back in session before the end of the month.
