Do You Love the Turdy Pointer? WI DNR Seeks Volunteers to Teach Hunting Skills

The Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources is looking for volunteers to teach hunting skills across the state.

The DNR says becoming a volunteer instructor offers a chance to shape the future of hunting in Wisconsin, gain hands-on teaching experience and work with DNR staff. Volunteer opportunities are available statewide for instructors of all experience levels. Volunteer opportunities include Outdoor Skills programs, which teach specific skills like shooting basics, processing deer, dog training and cooking wild game. CLICK HERE TO HARVEST THE DETAILS.

The Learn to Hunt Program allows volunteers to host educational mentored hunts outside of the normal hunting season.
