The investigation continues into a deadly officer-involved shooting in Chippewa Falls with the release of the names of those involved.
Chippewa Falls Police Department Sergeant James Luckey was pursuing a suspect on foot on the morning of April 9th when authorities say that individual — 44-year-old Bradley Barnum — appeared to pull a gun on the officer. Luckey opened fire — hitting Barnum — who later was revealed to have been carrying a BB gun. Barnum died at the scene. Luckey has been placed on administrative leave.
