Downtown Eau Claire, Inc. (DECI) announced the next cycle of the Jump-Start Downtown, a competition for local entrepreneurs, startups, and small businesses to showcase their innovative ideas and bring their vision to life in the downtown Eau Claire community.
The Jump Start Downtown competition is designed to provide a platform for individuals and businesses who are ready to take the next step in building and growing their ventures and make a lasting impact on the local economy.
About Jump-Start Downtown
Jump-Start Downtown invites entrepreneurs to submit their business proposals, and winners will be awarded prizes to help support their initiatives. The competition is open to all businesses located within the city of Eau Claire with a focus on those with innovative and sustainable business models. 2024’s Jump Start Downtown winners were Oh Claire Improv (1st Place), Phoenix Taproom (2nd Place) and Eau Claire Outdoors (3rd Place).

● Cash Prizes: 1st Place: $5,000.00, 2nd Place: $2,500.00, 3rd Place: $1,000.00; ● Eligibility: Open to local entrepreneurs and businesses located within Eau Claire, with a particular emphasis on new or growing businesses.This competition cycle is open to any business that has opened in 2024 or will be opening in 2025;
● Deadline for Applications: Tuesday, December 31st. (Entries must be received by 5 p.m. CST);
● Application Process: Interested applicants can submit their business proposals through the DECI website (https://www.downtowneauclaire.org/jumpstart-grant);
