EC Co. Health Dept. Offering Vaccine Clinics

The Health Department is offering no-cost flu and Tdap vaccines this month for kids 18 and under at vaccine clinics in Eau Claire and Augusta.

“We’re glad to offer an opportunity for kids in our community to get their flu shot and get up to date with the Tdap vaccine.”

Walk-ins are welcome, but you can also visit ecvaccine.as.me/ to schedule an appointment at one of the clinics.

Clinics will be held on:

  • Saturday, October 12, 10am – 1pm: Augusta Senior and Community Center. Note: In addition to child flu shots, free adult flu shots will be also offered by Northlakes Community Clinic at this location. Adults should bring their insurance card; people without insurance will still be able to get a flu shot at no cost.
  • Monday, October 14, 3:30 – 6:30pm:North High School (commons area)
  • Thursday, October 17, 3:30 – 5pm: Delong Middle School (media room)
  • Wednesday, October 23, 3:30 – 5pm: South Middle School (cafeteria)
  • Wednesday, October 30, 3:30 – 5pmNorthstar Middle School (gym)

Children will be able to get a flu shot (6 months or older) and/or a Tdap (tetanus, diphtheria, pertussis) vaccine at no cost. All children under 18 must have a parent/guardian present at the clinic.

It’s OK to have questions about childhood vaccines – if you need more information about a vaccine, talk to your child’s doctor.
