UW Branch Campuses Getting Funding to Shift Classes

Communities that have lost a UW branch campus are getting some state money to make up for it.

Governor Evers on Friday signed a new law that allows communities to get up to two million-dollars to help transition away from in-person classes. Richland Center has completely lost its campus and West Bend, Waukesha, and Marinette will see the end of in-person classes next fall. All together there’s 20 million-dollars available.
