Rochelle Lynn Olson, 34 years of age, from Eau Claire, WI has been arrested by the Wisconsin State Patrol Eau Claire Post for operating a motor vehicle under the influence, 3rd offense, with two children in the vehicle under the age of 16.
On Sunday, October 22, 2023, at 3:37 a.m., a Trooper with the Wisconsin State Patrol stopped a vehicle for traffic violations on Wisconsin Street near Madison Street in Eau Claire. The Trooper observed that the driver, Rochelle Olson, showed signs of impairment. A subsequent investigation, including standardized field sobriety testing, showed that Ms. Olson was operating a motor vehicle while under the influence of an intoxicant. She was subsequently arrested and charged with operating a vehicle under the influence of an intoxicant – 3rd offense while having passengers under 16 years old. The two children were turned over to the care of a family friend. Ms. Olson was transported to a local hospital for an evidentiary chemical test of her blood and then released to a responsible party.
