Southeast Wisconsin finally got the good soaking that it needed, though it’s a little late.
The National Weather Service just last week’s rain dropped about two inches or more across the area. Port Washington saw the most with nearly three-and-a-half inches of rain, while Milwaukee’s airport saw one of the smallest totals and just under two inches. The rain that fell between Wednesday and Saturday was one of the longest soaking rains in southeast Wisconsin in months.
