State investigators are looking into a deadly officer-involved shooting over the weekend in Rice Lake.
The Department of Justice says Rice Lake Police got a call from a woman who said she had been stabbed about 5:30 Sunday afternoon. When officers arrived, investigators say a man was barricaded inside an apartment. After officers tried to get the man to come out, investigators say the man then charged at officers with a blade. The Department of Justice says officers shot and killed the man. None of the officers were hurt, and Rice Lake Police say there’s no further danger to the public.
