Bond is set at one-million dollars for a Columbia County man who is accused of killing his partner.
Police arrested 79-year-old Larry Manthe last Friday in connection with the shooting death of Alice Langer last October. Investigators believe Manthe killed Langer because she planned to end the long-term relationship they were in. He is charged with first-degree intentional homicide with domestic abuse and dangerous weapon enhancers.
