Governor Tony Evers is proclaiming May 29th to be 529 College Savings Day.
The announcement comes from the Wisconsin Department of Financial Institutions. Money saved in a 529 college savings plan can be used at any accredited public or private university, as well as a college, technical college, community college or professional school nationwide.
