The woman accused of chopping-up her boyfriend in Green Bay last year after a day of drug use will get a new competency hearing, but not another delay in her trial.
The judge in Taylor Schabusiness’ case yesterday approved a third mental health evaluation, but refused to move the trial. Schabusiness’ lawyers are angling for a mental health defense in the case. She was supposed to go on trial last October, but the case was delayed several times. Opening statements are scheduled for July 24th, and the judge in the case remains insistent on starting that day.
