The football Badgers are taking their first week of training camp on the road.
The team is holding closed practices at the UW-Platteville campus from August first through eighth. Head Coach Luke Fickell says he believes the camp will help players focus on coming together on and off the field. The Chicago Bears held summer training camp at Platteville’s Pioneer Stadium from the mid-80’s until 2002.
