A deadly crash involving a horse-drawn buggy is under investigation in southwest Wisconsin.
The Lafayette County Sheriff’s Office says the buggy was rear-ended by a semi truck on State Highway 81 in Darlington around three o’clock this morning, throwing a man and woman off of it. The sheriff’s office says the woman died along with the horse that was pulling the buggy. The man is in the hospital with serious injuries. The driver of the semi isn’t hurt.
