A deadly crash in Douglas County is under investigation.
On Tuesday, May 23rd, 2023 the Wisconsin State Patrol responded to a one-vehicle roll-over crash on Hwy 35 near County Road T in Douglas County. Upon arrival, it was discovered one of the back-seat passengers was ejected from the vehicle and was deceased.
Initial investigation indicates the driver of the vehicle swerved to miss an object in the road and overturned after losing control. A second passenger was transported by ambulance from the scene and suffered non-life-threatening injuries.
The crash remains under investigation by the Wisconsin State Patrol.
