Pentagon Connects to Oshkosh for Army Contract

The Pentagon continues to send more work to Oshkosh.

Oshkosh Defense yesterday announced it has landed a 263 million-dollar contract to produce trailers for the Army.  They are officially called the Enhanced Heavy Equipment Transporter System.  Oshkosh Defense already makes the trucks that haul the trailers.  The contract lasts for five years.  It’s not clear if the work will be done in Wisconsin or at another plant.
