DNR Warns Pet Owners After Wolf Attack

Department of Natural Resources officials remind pet owners to be watchful after a wolf attack. 

The attack happened in Lincoln County near Russell last week.  A dog was undergoing bear hunting training when it was killed by wolves.  Help to identify and avoid areas of high wolf pack activity is available with a search for on the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources webpage.
