Gov. Evers Orders National Guard To Put on Scrubs

The Wisconsin National Guard is taking on a new role, as nurses in hospitals and nursing homes across the state.

Governor Tony Evers yesterday announced plans to send more than 200 troops to hospitals and care facilities across the state.  The soldiers are being trained as certified nursing assistants.  The move comes as Wisconsin saw another day of spiking coronavirus hospitalizations.  Roughly 22-hundred people are in the hospital with the virus at the weeks end.
