There’s a lawsuit over one of the scrapped designs for the Sonnentag Center.
Southside Holdings and Big River Education Center are suing the UW-Eau Claire Foundation, they say because the Foundation canceled their plans for a development next to the new center. The two sold a piece of property to the university, which they say was part of a deal to allow them to develop the old Student Transit Center property. That property is now going to become a parking lot for the Sonnentag Center.
The Bluglod Foundation says the plans for the Sonnentag Center changed many times. The Foundation says it’s unfortunate that this disagreement is now headed to court.
