First there was anger, then there were no masks.
Milwaukee’s first N95 mask giveaway did not go well yesterday. The city’s health department quickly ran out of packs of the free masks. But people were angry long before that. Health department crews were only handing masks out to people who waited in an hours-long drive-thru line. Anyone who walked-up to get a mask was turned away. Milwaukee has nearly a half-million N95 masks to give away. The health department says they will try again tomorrow.
