La Crosse Spends Stimulus to House Homeless

La Crosse is spending some of its coronavirus stimulus money to rent rooms for the homeless.

The city yesterday said it’s spending seven-hundred-thousand-dollars to rent rooms at a local Econo Lodge for the homeless. La Crosse plans to keep them in the rooms until March. Mayor Mitch Reynolds says, after that, La Crosse will need a more permanent solution.
