Wisconsin’s busiest hunting season of the year is a little more than two weeks away.
The state’s Department of Natural Resources held a virtual update on gun deer season yesterday. Hunters will take to the woods and fields on Saturday the 20th. DNR is reminding hunters about basic safety, and asking them to report any signs of chronic wasting disease. Gun season runs through the 28th of this month.
