An Eau Claire man is the latest to plead guilty to being inside the Capitol on January 6th.
Kevin Loftus agreed to a plea deal yesterday. Federal prosecutors say they linked Loftus to the Capitol riot through pictures on Facebook. There is no evidence that he did any damage or threatened anyone, he was simply inside the building. He could get as many as six months in jail as part of his plea bargain. He’s due to be sentenced in January.
