The investigation into Wisconsin’s 2020 elections now includes subpoenas from the legislature.
Representative Janel Brandtjen on Friday asked for ballots, voting machines, and election information from Milwaukee and Brown counties. She also wants the counties’ clerks to appear before her committee in Madison. Brandtjen has said for months that there are lingering questions about ballot security and whether local election managers followed the law last year. Neither of the two clerks have said if they will appear before Brandtjen’s committee at the statehouse.
