Special Election Keeps Republican Majority

Special Election Keeps Republican Majority

The Republican majority in the Wisconsin Assembly is not changing.

Republican William Penterman easily won the 37th Assembly District special election last night. The 37th stretches across Dane, Jefferson, Dodge and Columbia counties. It is a solidly Republican district. Penterman replaces John Jagler, who won a special election to the state Senate earlier this year.
