Planners for the Eau Claire Marathon are looking for a new route.
The Marathon’s Emily Uelmen says the city’s decision to close the High Bridge means runners won’t be able to run the same course as in years’ past. The city closed the bridge this week because of a crack in its foundation. Uelmen says in addition to selecting a new path, the Marathon will have to be re-ceritifed in order to make it a Boston Marathon-eligible race. CLICK HERE FOR MORE ABOUT OUR LOCAL MARATHON.
