Governor Tony Evers is promising to fix the potholes as part of his state budget.
The governor continued his statewide tour yesterday, talking-up his Badger Bounceback plan. The governor wants to spend two-billion-dollars on road projects over the next two years. It’s not clear, however, just how much money will be spent on the roads. Republican lawmakers in Madison have said they will write the state’s next budget, not the governor.
