Eau Claire is doing what it can to improve the relationship with Asian Americans in the community.
Interim city manager Dave Solberg yesterday said the city is working to make sure that everyone is welcome. Solberg said he’s heard from some people who say they cannot go to Phoenix Park without being accused of starting the coronavirus. Solberg said that’s unacceptable. Mai Xiong, the President of Hmong American Leadership and Economic Development, says building individual relationships is key to improving how everyone feels in Eau Claire.
