Stevens Point could become RoboCop’s home.
Mayor Mike Wiza has been trying to land an 11-foot statue of RoboCop for years. It was supposed to go to Detroit, where the movie was set, but that fell through. Wiza says Stevens Point would be a great home. RoboCop star Peter Weller is from Stevens Point, and the mayor says it would be a fitting tribute.
