It’s a not guilty plea from the teenager accused of killing one person and wounding another at the Fox River Mall at the end of January.
Dezman Ellis entered his plea on Wednesday. Police say Ellis, who is 17, shot and killed 19-year-old Jovanni Frausto because of a fight over a girl. A second person in the mall was wounded in the shooting. Ellis is facing charges in adult court.
