Man Facing Felony Charges in New Year’s Day Stabbing

It is felony charges for the man accused of the New Year’s Day stabbing at the Brickhouse in downtown Eau Claire.

Prosecutors yesterday filed first degree recklessly endangering safety and battery with a dangerous weapon charges against 32-year-old James Sande. Police say he drunkenly stabbed a man at the Brickhouse early on New Years. Sande is out of jail on a 50-thousand-dollar signature bond. He’s due back in court next month.
