The historic 120-year-old city hall is sold in Stanley.
A representative says it was originally built for 17-thousand dollars and is known for it’s clock tower which can be viewed in all four directions. The nine-hundred pound weight used to operate the clock became loose and fell through each floor and landing in the basement. The police and a fire truck was located in the building but moved out for more space as technology advanced.
The building will be renovated into housing by the new owner.
