We now know the names of those involved in a deadly home explosion.
It was just after 11 on Monday, morning when the Chippewa County Communications Center as well as the Eau Claire Emergency Center received numerous calls about an explosion on the north side of Eau Claire. It was discovered that a home located at 7336 10 th Ave., Eau Claire, in the County of Chippewa, Town of Wheaton, had exploded.
The home owner, 66 year old Dale Lambert, and friend, 68 year old Belinda Wedemeyer both died as a result of the explosion. The home was totally destroyed by the blast. The cause for the explosion is still under investigation.
