Chippewa County’s sheriff is looking at a propane tank as the cause of an explosion that killed two people.
The house near the Chippewa-Eau Claire County line exploded yesterday morning. Two people, a man and a woman, died from the blast. Sheriff Jim Kowalczyk says no one is sure just what caused the explosion, but investigators are looking at the propane tank. The sheriff says he will identify the two victims later today.
