DNC MAKES SHIFT TO ONLINE, WI POLITICS HEAT UP

Democrats from across the country will not be flocking to Milwaukee this summer.

Democratic National Convention organizers yesterday moved the convention out of Fiserv Forum to mostly-online. State delegations are being told not to travel to Milwaukee out of fears of the coronavirus. Democratic National Committee Chair Tom Perez yesterday said they are ‘adapting’ to the situation and putting the health of convention goers first.

When it comes to politics and as we inch closer to the November elections, there are a lot of politicos looking at the latest poll numbers in Wisconsin.

A new Marquette Law School Poll released yesterday gives Joe Biden an eight-point lead on President Trump in the state. Biden leads the president 49-percent to 41- percent. Biden had a three-point lead in both March and May. Marquette pollsters say the president’s job approval is also down. Forty-five-percent of people approve of the job he is doing, while 51-percent don’t.
