POLK CO. MAN SENTENCED FOR DRUGS AND GUN

A man caught with ten pounds of pot and a machine gun in western Wisconsin will not spend any time behind bars.

A judge in Polk County on Monday sentenced Benjamin Chouinard to two years of probation. Police arrested Chouinard in 2018 after they say he bought four pounds of marijuana from an undercover agent.

Police found more marijuana and a machine gun along with two silencers in his home after that. Chouinard pleaded the charges down to two counts of possession with intent to deliver.
