STUDENTS OUT FOR YEAR, SPORTS UP FOR DEBATE

Governor Evers yesterday ordered all schools in the state to stay closed for the rest of the spring. Students have been at home for about a month. In some districts that means more distance learning, but in others it means an extra-long summer break.


Just because kids won’t be in school doesn’t mean they won’t be playing baseball or running track. The WIAA, the folks in charge of high school sports in the state, yesterday said they will meet next week to figure out if there will be any spring sports this year.
