CHECKING OUT FOOD SHARE BOOSTS

Nearly a quarter-million people in Wisconsin are getting a little extra help in buying their groceries.

The state’s Department of Health Services yesterday said 215-thousand people in the state’s FoodShare program will see some extra money. The state is raising the amount of money per-month because of the coronavirus. A family of four can now receive up to 646 dollars per-month for groceries.
