Officers recently recovered items that were stolen from vehicles. If you were a victim, you could have your possessions returned to you.
Chippewa Falls officers located a suspect entering and stealing items from unlocked vehicles in the west hill area. The suspect admitted to entering vehicles and had a large amount of stolen property-not all of which has been returned to the owners.
The suspect was not able to direct officers to which vehicle they stole the items from. So, if you had your vehicle entered, and/or items missing, you can contact Officer Harper at 715-723-4424 Ext. 3005, or Investigator Monson at 715-726-2706.
The incident also serves as a friendly reminder, with the increased lock down, and warm weather approaching, please ensure your high value items are removed from your vehicles and vehicles are secured.
