ALTOONA MAN GETS PROBATION IN KIDNAP ATTEMPT

An Altoona man will avoid prison after trying to kidnap his ex-wife.

Nathan Homme pleaded guilty to burglary in January and was sentenced Monday to ten years of supervised probation and a 21-month stayed prison sentence.  A criminal complaint says Homme broke into his ex-wife’s house in Shoreview, Minnesota about a year ago.

Police say they found syringes, vials, cash, multiple guns, and what they’ve called a kidnapping kit in his Altoona apartment.
