It looks like a lot of people want to be Eau Claire’s next superintendent.
The city’s school board last night said that 37 people have applied for the job. School board president Eric Torres says they will narrow that field down, then invite some finalists for interviews. Current Superintendent Mary Ann Hardebeck is retiring in June.
