A now-11-year-old girl will face homicide charges in juvenile court in Chippewa County.
Prosecutors on Friday agreed to move the case against the girl out of adult court. Police say the girl was 10 when she stomped on six-month-old Jaxon Hunter, he died a few days later. A judge last week also found the girl unfit for trial, as she’s been held in a mental health treatment center.
