Wisconsin’s largest teachers’ union is blaming a lack of money for test scores that show six in ten kids in Wisconsin cannot read or add at grade level.
Wisconsin Education Association President Ron Martin yesterday said lawmakers should find more money for local schools, he said to possibly shrink class sizes.
Wisconsin is spending more money than ever before on schools as classrooms will get seven-and-a-half-billion-dollars this year.
