A La Crosse man is accused of stealing a wallet from a car but getting caught after leaving his cell phone behind.
Police say a man reported his car was broken into last week and his wallet was stolen but a phone with a red case was left inside. Police identified and arrested Lucas Armstrong from selfies he’d taken on the phone. Armstrong is also accused of stealing a laptop from a hotel room back in April.
