The number of students getting vaccinated in Eau Claire County is decreasing.
According to the county health department, 87-percent of students were up to date on their vaccinations in the 2018-2019 school year, a drop from the previous school year. The Center for Disease Control also reports the percentage of people declining vaccinations for personal, religious, or medical reasons in the state rose from just over one-and-a-half-percent to over five-percent.
