CARSON AIMS FOR HOME RUN IN NEW UPGRADES

Upgrades are coming to Carson Park.

The two stone pillars and adjoining stone walls that mark the east entrance to the park are scheduled to be repaired with new mortar and the addition of lights beginning later this summer or fall, according to Jeff Pippenger, City of Eau Claire community services director.

The project was initiated by the Eau Claire Community Parks Association, which works with local groups to help the city improve parks and recreation areas. The association has pledged to cover much of the project’s estimated $20,000 cost and is seeking partial funding through community support.

All donations will be accepted. A plaque will recognize donors who commit $500 or more. CLICK HERE FOR MORE INFORMATION.
