There won’t be any public Christmas decorations in La Crosse this year.
Mayor Tim Kabat last night told the city’s council that the city doesn’t have enough workers to both pick-up leaves and hang Christmas lights. Kabat says he’s got to be the Grinch and prioritize leaf pick-up. Downtown Mainstreet usually partners with the city to hang the decorations, they say they may look for another partner this year.
