SPIKE STRIPS STOP POLICE CHASE

SPIKE STRIPS STOP POLICE CHASE

The Monroe County Sheriff’s Office has identified a man it says led deputies on a high speed chase.

The sheriff’s office says Robert LaVake ran from deputies on Interstate-90 last Thursday, going over 100 miles-per-hour.  Tomah police eventually used spike strips to stop the car.  The car crashed and caught fire and LaVake was pulled from the car and arrested.  The car was reported stolen from Colorado.
