The I-94 rivalry game wasn’t even close this year. Stout blew-out Eau Claire in Saturday’s battle, winning 73-29. The win set a record for the most points ever scored in the game between the two schools, and the most points ever scored by a Stout team. The victory moves Stout to 3-1 overall, and drops Eau Claire to 1-3 overall.

Garland Nelson pleaded guilty today to two counts of first-degree murder and was sentenced to two life terms in prison. Nelson’s accused of killing Justin and Nicholas Diemel back in 2019 after they met him at his farm in Missouri to collect an over 200-thousand dollar debt. Their bodies were later found in Nebraska. Since Nelson pleaded guilty he avoids facing the death penalty.
