On 08-24-22, Officers received a report that a male and female had entered Mall Furniture in Marshfield WI and fraudulently purchased various furniture items. On 08-23-22, the individuals purchased $15, 054 worth of furniture and loaded it into a white Penske truck. Search Continues After County Fairgrounds Are Torn Up

The sheriff in Richland County is looking for whoever tore-up a field at the county fairgrounds. The sheriff’s office posted pictures on Facebook yesterday of the deep ruts someone left behind after driving through the field. The sheriff says whoever did the damage was looking to get on to the fairground’s track. The sheriff’s office is asking for tips as part of the investigation.

 There won’t be any politicians in Middleton’s Good Neighbor Festival this weekend. The parade usually allowed elected officials a chance to march but kept candidates out. Festival President Nancy Vickery said they’re making the change this year after some complaints and online criticism.
